The first sip delights with boisterous acidity and medium tannins, showcasing both sweet blueberry and tart boysenberry, followed by a light dusting of cocoa and black pepper. As it settles in, this wine smooths out, offering lovely mouthfeel and finish with a slight tobacco box flavor to wrap up. Pair with a slightly salty tomato sauce dish, like traditional spaghetti or calzone.
